Here at Craft My Day we really like to think of ourselves as a community rather than a company. Our regulars become friends and we watch the kids grow into teens and often then into employees!
Feeling a bit lonely? Worried you won't know anyone or have any experience? Our classes are set up to allow all levels of experience to join in the fun and learn along the way- you will always be welcomed with a friendly face and a cup of tea!
We love to spread our reach and can often be found attending community events, such as Wibledons Christmas Markets in the Wimbledon Quarter, or working with Kingston Council to create Period Tunics for the Festivals taking place in Kingston to celebrate the Coronation of King Alfreston
We have now been in business at our Worcester Park Studio for 10 years! It hasn't all been easy with Covid, Economic crisis and Personal changes along the way - but that is the joy of a small business! We grew to add our much loved Thames Ditton Studio which we ran for 4 years but recently closed it after making a difficult but strategic business decision.
As part of our continued growth Rachel, the founder of Craft My Day, had now opened Tanglewood Studio - offering unique Craft and Spa retreat experiences, in Dorking.

Did you see Rachel and Caldey both appearing on episodes of Katie Piper's Breakfast show on ITV?

The Ginistry Epsom
In 2024 we were thrilled to be collaborating with The Ginistry in Epsom, to run a collection of monthly workshops

We support local teens through a schools outreach programme at Malden Oaks, offering an Art & Crafts curriculum. Students have enjoyed a whole range of crafts, including sculpting gnomes, clay creations, mandala art, jewellery making and so much more.
"We support schools by providing alternative provision for students through MO Discover and opportunities for teachers to work together in highly evaluated training and free networks".
We have been working with Malden Oaks for over a year, helping teenagers to improve their school attendance, confidence and self belief. It has been a pleasure to work with such a fantastic programme and we are thrilled to now be adding this opportunity at our Thames Ditton Branch also.

At Craft My Day our whole purpose is to help people find joy and boost their confidence.
It is amazing the transformation we see everyday in the kids and adults who join us,
whether regularly or just for a one off workshop.
Anna from The Sewing Nut, ran a year long sewing course with
Cheam Rotary club, funded by a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund.
The students are now well versed in how to sew by hand, how to sew with a sewing machine, how to utilize discard fabric to make new items, how to repair and repurpose old clothes and how to make basic clothing like a skirt.
Using, repairing and consuming less are effective ways to avoid wasting our planet and our Sewing project is fulfilling all of these. The classes are not only giving the students new skills which they could use in employment in the future but, socially, they have found friends and improvement in their mental health too.
