A quick Easter project with the fabulous Cricut… Open up the design space on your computer or iPad. There are hundreds of projects ready to go in the design space, which you literally just click, persnalise then go …always with a selection for any upcoming celebrations… but you do have to pay for them, individually or with a yearly subscription. I have found it really easy to make all my own projects from scratch so have not yet succumbed to subscription however I did purchase the bunny shape for this project, at 79p!!
I always start with new project’ which gives you the basic grid. I have added a free circle shape then pulled it into an egg shape and adjusted size. The grid on the cutting mat is to scale with the screen so it is really easy to check. Once happy, press go and load up the cutting mat with your chosen material. Make sure you have selected the correct material setting on the machine also. And go!!
For this quick project with my daughter I used some different coloured cards and cut out a few eggs and then repeated the process with a bunny shape. I left her to decorate, then tied them all onto a bright ribbon for a lovely Easter decoration! !!
