For a normal workshop, arriving a few minutes before the advertised start time gives you time to settle in. For parties and private events, your booking information will tell you when to arrive.
You should receive a booking confirmation after completing your order. Please check the details carefully, including the date, time, venue and number of places booked. Please do check your spam folder if you haven't received it!
Yes, where VAT applies it is included in the advertised price.
Where your booking is eligible to be moved or cancelled, you can normally manage this through the link in your booking confirmation. The options available depend on how close you are to the event, so please check our current Terms & Conditions before making or changing a booking.
Please let us know as soon as possible. Late cancellations and non-attendance may not be eligible for a refund or reschedule, particularly when we have already prepared materials and reserved your place.
If we ever need to cancel a session, we will contact everyone booked onto it and explain the options available.
Yes. Our children’s activities are run by experienced staff, and parents/carers provide emergency contact details when booking.
Please let us know about allergies, medical information, additional needs, anxiety, sensory needs or anything else that will help us support your child safely and comfortably during the session.
We aim to make our sessions as welcoming and accessible as we reasonably can. Because every child and every activity is different, please contact us before booking if your child may need additional support so we can talk honestly about whether the particular session will be a good fit.
Please contact us before booking or visiting and tell us what you need. We would much rather have the conversation beforehand and let you know what we can reasonably accommodate than have you arrive unsure.
Comfortable clothing is best. Some crafts involve paint, glue, inks or other materials that can get messy, so we recommend wearing something you won’t worry about if creativity gets slightly out of hand.
All of our adult workshops include tea, coffee and biscuits, and refreshments are provided at a number of children’s sessions and events. Check the individual listing for exactly what is included.
Please let us know before your session or event if you have any dietary requirements. If food is being provided, we need relevant dietary and allergy information in advance so we can plan appropriately.
Of course. You don’t need to understand every craft we offer before contacting us. Tell us who the booking is for, whether you want something one-off or regular, your level of experience and what you’re hoping to get from it. We’ll help point you in the right direction.
Yes. Complete beginners make up a large part of what we do. You can come to try something new, learn a skill, meet people or simply enjoy a few hours doing something different — you do not need to arrive already knowing what you’re doing.
